At a board meeting this week, Steve Jobs announced that he was very excited about the newest product from Apple. “I am so tired of walking through some of the development areas and smelling bad body odor,” stated Jobs. “Yes, I expect a lot of my developers, but do they have to smell that bad? Not any more. Gentlemen, I give you Mac: The Cologne!” Steve Jobs then pulled out a small spray bottle and went around spraying every board member with the new cologne.
“This new scent is everyone’s favorite smells all rolled into one spray bottle,” Jobs told the board. “We have taken new car smell, a forest scent after a storm, cinnamon buns scent right out of the oven, fresh movie theater popcorn smell, and the smell of an iPod right out of the box, and we combined them all for the greatest scent in the world.
“It was amazing,” said one board member. “It smelled like I had just parked my brand new car in a rain forest while eating cinnamon buns and popcorn while listening to my new iPod. Truly innovative.”
Apple has not yet settled on the name of the new cologne. They are still playing around with other names including Mac Scent Pro, iSmell, and iStink. Steve Jobs says that he plans to roll out the new cologne along with a body wash, after shave, and laundry detergent by the end of 2007.
